Working more and more with artists from the Big Dada label, touring and acting as first resident at the deeply missed GOSH! night at London’s Plastic People as well as making a step up to recording and honing studio techniques with Don Kazek as We Yo Nee, A La Fu found time to record the Self Indulgent Sessions…no guest hosts this time but by using some pre recorded collaborations, archived material, skits and sketches the piece still feels like a comprehensively live spectacle and again stepping up the diversity in the selection…it’s probably a good marker in which you can best pinpoint a sea change and development from the predominantly hip hop based collection to a more open banquet.

With projects a plenty around this time this was the first of the series that didn’t see it through to any proper release stage, instead it was pressed to a very, very limited run and was more or less handed out to audiences while on tour. It was not pressed again…until now…we’ve uncovered the master and designed a new cover to go with it so here it is…like Justin Warfield once sang, ‘pick it up ya’ll’.
